All classes must be paid at least 10 days prior to class. Cancellations received within 7 business days of class are not refundable due to confirmations with teachers. You can receive any handouts received. Cancellations prior to 7 business days can be refunded or given an in-store credit.
Embroidery Club students will need to pay the month before to secure your spot in the class. The maximum number of students in each embroidery class is 6.

You will make 2 classy projects in the 4-hour mini event. This class is for beginner embroiders and up with a 4x4, 5x7 and up hoop size. You will also receive additional designs to stitch later. In this class we will be working on a sewing tool rolled tote. Very convenient to keep your tools organized for classes and everywhere you need to take them. We will be working with clear vinyl and sewing in a zipper. This is a great class for experienced beginners and higher levels. Please bring a snack or sack lunch.
Boot Camp - Beginning Quilting General Session 1: Tuesday 1/28 4-6 p.m. Fee: $20 (includes Class Binder) Click on the picture to sign up
Join us for an 8-part Beginning Quilting Boot Camp. We will offer these classes a la carte so if you miss one you can always make it up later to complete your binder. This first session will be lecture / demo / and hands on cutting. We will cover thread, needles, fabric, and rotary cutting. You will learn about fabric colors, pattern sizes, and coordination. Each follow-on class will be $10. You must "know your machine". If you have not had a know your machine class, please schedule one. This series will yield a baby or lap size quilt. All supplies for this class will be 10% off once your are signed up.

Join us for the Premier+ 2 Embroidery Ultra or Extra Master class. Designing with the Project in the Hoop Wizard or Assistant in the software is a fast way to produce some cool gifts and accessories. Kick your Project-in-the-Hoop creations up a notch with these variation techniques.
Boot Camp - Beginning Quilting Session 2: Tuesday 2/4 4-6 p.m Fee: $10 Nine-Patch Block Click on the picture to sign-up
This session will focus on strip-piecing, nestling, and accurate seams. Students will learn how to sew strip sets and sub-cut them, sew an accurate 1/4" seam, and press correctly. Learn the trick to perfect seam matching with the "kiss method" and more.
Scan-n-Cut Club Tuesday 2/5 4-6 Fee: 15.00 Click on the picture to sign-up In this class we will be using the scan feature in conjunction with Canvas Workspace to scan in different patterns. Applique paper patterns, fabric design, paper scrapbook paper designs, etc. This class will show how to use the direct cut and scan to cut data features to cut out motifs to use in projects like the collage quilting patterns from Laura Heine.
Westalee Ruler - Reverse Applique Technique Saturday 2/8 10-2 Fee: $20 Click on the picture to sign-up
The introductory Westalee Ruler class is required before taking this class. This is a technique class. You will learn how to use your Westalee rulers to make these reverse applique blocks. After learning this fun technique, you can make your own creations. Recommend you bring a sack lunch or snack.

This session will focus on half-square triangles. Students will learn multiple ways of doing them! We will also discuss piecing problems and how to fix them.Using your previous technique for aligning you seams you will now work on keeping your points.

This session will teach you how to square up your blocks individually and then by row. We will discuss how to fix problems and learn how the "fudge factor" works.In addition, we will begin discussions on borders and how to make quilting decisions.

We will be working on the medium sized clutter catcher without the handles (or we can easily add them if you want). These make great organizers in your sewing room or in the kids rooms. This is a great class for the experienced beginners and higher levels. We recommend you bring a sack lunch or snack for this class.
Boot Camp - Beginning Quilting Session 5: Tuesday 2/25 4 - 6 p.m Fee: $10 Borders: Pieced and Unpieced Click on the picture to sign-up
This session students will learn how to figure yardage, piece inner and outer borders, double up your rulers, mitered corners, and more. We will also discuss properly how to attach your borders to lessen the "flag" problem.
Premier+2 Software Class: Creative Cross Stitcher Wednesday 2/26 10-12 or 4 - 6 p.m. Fee $10 Click on the picture to sign-up This class requires Premier+2 Ultra. The Cross Stitch Design Wizard has tools to quickly create crosses from a picture or to load a background and paint your own crosses into the grid squares. However, if you cancel the Wizard, you can set your own parameters to match the exact design you want to create! Let’s design an easy project or two in Cross Stitcher with the tools and toolbars to help you learn to use their applications in different fun and imaginative ways!
Boot Camp - Session 6: Marking & Basting Tues 3/3 4 - 6 p.m. Fee: $10 Click on picture to sign-up Session 6 focuses on Marking & Basting. By this class your quilt top and borders have been attached and you are ready to plan your quilting. You will be choosing your backing, layering your quilt sandwich, and planning your quilting. We will be doing straight line quilting with a walking foot.

Session 7 you will begin quilting your quilt. You will learn how to properly lock your stitches, bring up your threads and tie-off. You will actually be quilting in this class so you will need your sewing machine and walking foot.
